I love these pictures! The compositions are fantastic and I love the many interesting shapes in them. For some reason when I look at them, I get a feeling that it ironically shows how something as fun as a fair can be mechanical and somewhat scary. The claw-like structre that looks like it is about ready to grasp the people dangling in front of it in the 4th picture, the people being rocketed around on the swings, and the lifeless gorillas hanging ominously above the people and smiling coldly. They all give that feel of cold, mechanical, lifelessness. Scary and interesting!

ReplyDeleteYeah I took them with my phone and did like 5 min of editing on windows media gallery, the phone did most of the work, I mostly cropped and contrasted them up a bit. Bethany was with me and I made her stop every couple of seconds so I could get a quick snap shot, I honestly didn't think any of these would turn out.
